RS4 badge chipped

Post by RocketShip4 » Tue Mar 03, 2009 10:06 pm

Any wise folk here with ideas how to protect the steering wheel badge on the RS4 flat-bottomed wheel?

Dunno how, but mine has got a couple of small chips out the paint. Tiny but annoying. Or is this something that can be changed without damaging the fake aluminium section?

I just ordered a new one on eBay. Just pops out of the flat bottomed steering wheel quite easily (without marking the Al) and the new one went in.

I had mine swapped under warranty as it was rattly. Maybe it could develop a small but annoying rattle and be changed?????

That has to be the best warranty claim ever :-)
