rear anti roll bars

Yep, fits on and sorts out the understeer nicely I understand, on my to do list aswell

From what i have been told they won't. PG from the RS4 forum told me. Different set up on the rear.

I was looking the the HOTCHKIS and possibly ECS TUNING site and they both said it bolts straight on I think? Have a gander

He is talking out of his rear end. The RS4 RARB does fit a B6 S4, I have one fitted.

IIRC the total cost for the mod was £60-ish. They are easy to fit and there areplenty of DIY guides available.

I did the mod about 3 months ago and it transforms the handling. I did notice quite a worrying level of understeer before, now I'm a lot more confident around tight country bends. It's a mod every S4 owner has got to do.
The parts cost around £70 from an Audi dealer and that was for the ARB, bushes, brackets and bolts all round.
I do have a list of part numbers if anyone wants them, but the ( second) Audi parts guy knew exactly what I was after and had no problem.
You have to drop the rear exhaust, but it's only 4 bolts and then 6 bolts to get the ARB off. In all it took about an hour. You must use thread locking adhesive on the ARB bolts as I did mine without first time around and the bolts were loose after a day. I used a blue locktite on mine and they haven't moved since.

Apologies to all, the B7 RS4 rear ARB does fit the B6 S4 as it was a mod that I did when I had an S4. I was getting mixed up with the brake upgrade

I will say the Hotchkis ones are even thicker though but a good bit more expensive.

right finally got my ARB organised.

part numbers for anyone interested are;

roll bar 8E0511409AL @ £53.77
bushes 8E0511327D @ £2.44 each , need two
mounts 8E0511439 @ £2.49 each , need two
bolts N10127707 @ .64p each , need four

after my discount I paid less than £70, a cheap upgrade.
Now all I have to do is fit it.
