What does the sport mode do?
Ah sorry guys. I hadn't realised that pressing it turned it off! That's great. Most lesser car makers make you turn the Sport Mode on! Good thinking Audi to do it the other way. Maybe for when the Missus drives it! Surely therefore it has other features like making the parking sensors more active? I hope so!

You misunderstood by default sport is "off" and the changes are quite subtle I only really notice the bolsters squeezing slightly.
Ref the parking sensors I would prefer mine to be lest sensitive they scream at me when I'm still a metre away (I'm not sure they can be adjusted)

'Fraid not, just what's already been said - throttle mapping, exhaust valve actuation, and bolster squeezing on the front bucket seats - that's all it does.Phil3103 wrote:Surely therefore it has other features like making the parking sensors more active? I hope so!
Default is Sport off and you have to press it every time you turn the ignition on to get Sport mode active. I just follow the same sequence every time - key in, ignition on, press S, press starter, fasten seat belt while engine starts (you don't have to hold the starter button down) and drive off.
