Wow !!

Post by tombs » Tue Feb 04, 2003 1:37 am

WOW, I'm new to this forum, so just wanted to say hi. I am proud to say I have owned an Audi S4 (1999)for about 6 months and today had a real good drive down to Brighton and back. I appreciate it has a few niggly problems like the gear change, suspension ....etc, BUT the S4 is still an awesome car! Had all sorts of cars up my arse whilst cruising.......... well you know the rest, its
Bye Bye!

Any way on a different note, Wheels, I fancy the RS wheels, if any of you know about a good deal on these, I would be grateful.

Cheers

Welcome to the greatest S/RS forum

I guess speak to AmD they had some RS4 replicas 18 x 8 with tyres for around £1000

check their site

www.auto-amd.com

or look out for some secondhand ones

Sorry just sold mine

Welcome tonbs.

Just make sure that the wheels have the proper offset. AmD supplied RS4 wheels do, which means that they do not protrude from the arches.

Other suppliers of RS4 replicas I've seen do not offer the correct offset.

Cheers, I appreciate the help. Is it wise to hold on to the original's? (For when it comes to selling the car) Or If I were to sell them what do you think I could get for them?

It depends what you think will happen when you are finished with the car.

If you sell it back/trade in toa new Audi they prefer it to be as standard, so keep them

If you are not intending to do this

sell them

I reckon in good nick £75 per rim?????? - guess

Or you could keep them to have a Track set handy (with slick tyres, yummy)
Or a set of Winter tyres.
