Mate told me the Exhaust pipes on the R8 V10 are dummies (like the Lexus ISF) please don tell me this is true!

If you look inside you will the actual pipes. :wink:

Oh no.....the R8 v10 is the laughing stock on a few BMW forums...what was Audi thinking, is it because its a diesel?

V10 is no oil burner! I think you are getting confused with the V12 tdi from the Q7 that they plan to put in it

The R8 4.2 V8 also has false tailpipes, they are part of the rear bumper assembly

Hi do you know that the R10 V10 525PS engine is mechanically the same as the lamborghini Gallardo LP560 - 560PS?

The R8 V10 has an electronic limitation started at 6700rpms to limit +/- the throttle at 80%. It seems that possible (with a reprog) to reach 600PS...

Previous..RS4 Sprint blue loon..milltek non-res valved.revolution carbon air intake kit.cold air feed.carbon clean.MRC stage 2 remap..led interior lights.dectane led rear lights.led drls.Argon carbon oil splitter,race style front splitter,B and C door pillars and engine bottle cover..KW lowering springs.HEL brake lines all round.

LOL my mates mother is a motoring journalist, we popped over there last week to have a look, good car, did not go out in it, few of the girls went out in it the next day for a razz, unfortunately we could not as we was heading to the Nurburgring the following morning, gutted. beautiful sound and looks, looks great in the flesh as most cars do.
