Well, I've gone and done it !!

Post by teknobod » Mon Nov 24, 2003 5:22 pm

After selling my Civic Type R in September due to an unexpected addition to the family, I finally took the plunge and bought a well cared for Imola Yellow S4 Avant (courtesy of fellow member Golich ).

What can I say?

This motor is absolutely incredible.

Having previously test driven a standard S4 I was astounded by the performance of this car and it's so addictive.
(Mental note to self:- "I must sell these lead soled shoes!!" )
A wonderful introduction to S4 ownership.

I use the term "well cared for" loosely! (Sorry Patrick )

Nice one Andy!
That extra torque from the remap really is worthwhile, don't you agree?

Absolutely.
I could not believe the difference over stock.
I'm grinning that much it looks as though I've got a coat hanger stuck in my gob.

Andy,

I'm delighted your delighted. I knew you'd be impressed. It's one quick car

Yes I'm a <beep> for bumping it - Soory

I'm fecking paying for that now. Four nights under the bonnet of the neighbours astra diesel replacing his cylinder head gasket etc etc etc - not one of the best engineered engines, but it's coming together.

I've got some pics for you will send sometime
