Full Set of 4 RS6 Alloy wheels for sale
Like the above said. Why 40's? I think thats why you arent getting much interest. If you could do the wheels minus the tyres then give me a shout.

Just PM'd Grizz to find the answer. If they are the wrong ET then you have been given the wrong rims. However, does anyone know if this ET (44) will be too wide or too narrow on the hubs?

In that case i stand corrected. Would the ones advertised sit wider than standard then?

Yes, that's what I think, too... Thanks to me newly acquired knowledge about rims:pete2144 wrote:Further in I think?ecain63 wrote:In that case i stand corrected. Would the ones advertised sit wider than standard then?

The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types (measured in millimeters).*
Zero Offset:
The hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the wheel.
Positive:
The hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel. Positive offset wheels are generally found on front wheel drive cars and newer rear drive cars.
Negative:
The hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline. "Deep dish" wheels are typically a negative offset.

TW1963 wrote:Well you learn something everyday, i bought these on ebay in good faith, they were advertised as Genuine RS6 alloys.
Once and for all can somebody please help?
What have i got and what are they worth, thanks guys
davidkoulakis wrote:really? !golfather wrote:saw them, but they were not rs6 fitment !oh well . . . . lets hope the ebay buyer knows that !

As mentioned, your rims are for an A8.
They will NOT fit an RS6 as they will foul the suspension leg.
RS6 fitment is ET35.
I suggest stick them back on ebay, they will fit all new Golfs, A6's, A4's as they run high offsets like ET44.
