The 993tt 4 pot brake upgrade will fit under the standard wheels. With a complimentary upgrade to the rear it makes for an excellent set-up and with the right pads it will stand the punishment of trackdays without brake fade. Calipers in black and it's a very low key mod. Have you uprated thr suspension?

IMHO you really need to research well before selecting a tuner for the remap on the S4 and equally for the amount of money you are going to be spending you want someone who's done these conversions before. The best solution is to get the same place to do the conversion and the remap, that way you have an unequivical one stop shop should there be any problems - and problems do occur sometimes - as they say it happens to the best of them! So it'simportant to know your tuner and thir credentials and how they guarantee their work.

What BHP are you after and why?

thanks mate i'll start looking at that brake setup i have a good list of options to research, mark hardy who remapped the car is a very well thought of tuner/mechanic he does a lot of work for engine builders and gets flown around europe remapping cars, plus he's 15 mins away from me and i trust him 100% and he's a hell of a lot cheaper than the big companys doing the majority of conversions on here he's always got time to explain things.
My reason for wanting 450-500bhp is a few of my friends are filthy rich and i'm not so i'll list a few cars they've got at the moment and you'll see why
one lad has a gallardo, exige and brand new M3 another has a F430+RS6 and my brother in law has a 911 turbo and we want to do some kind of tour or race next year like the gumball or similar there are quite a few now and i want to embarrass a few people hence me wanting a totally standard looking car and i'm not gonna tell them i'm doing anything to the car

That's awesome...what sort of boost are you running to get that? And that's with stock S4 DPs, ICs and exhaust?
Fair play! :D
Addictive this tuning lark ain't it...! :P :P
Unfortunately, I don't think there's any cheap route to the goal...if there was...I'd have chosen it!!

my boost is set at 17.4psi or 1.2 bar and only drops off slightly to around 16psi 254g/second=332bhp/379lb ft on vag com depending on my boost control settings you can create your own boost curve as the controller can change boost settings at certain rpm points or timed intervals to give different boost at certain rpms and in different gears so i'm always messing about with it , but yes i'm on standard intercoolers and downpipes using V power99 petrol with a new maf thingy and divertor valves so a 4 second fats time is rather good i think according to the chart i seen i'm planning to gut my precats this week hopefully depending how my bad back is.....i dont feel 30 lol
