I was not going to get involved in this, but the more I read the more I thought I should post a link up- I know this guy has been trying to get into the RS6 scene for some time and to my knowledge has done a few, I have had no experience with the company, but thought all you relative noobs should be given the heads up.
I will leave you make up your own minds......

not being funny or "clever" but why do people wait 6 months to receive something that was guaranteed to arrive a lot sooner when numerous attempts to contact were ignored. Personally it would be trading standards, police and small claims.

Hmm, I think it would be wrong to speculate on the reasons why.......

Maybe, Maybe not, maybe issues and hashandled them REALLY badly.

However, I do recall some posts on here that were full of praise for his services.......

I should leave it at that now lads- the point has been made, maybe Corey can explain himself.........

I wouldn't normally get involved in such posts but for a balanced view I am a happy customer of quattronics as my local Audi specialist.

As a business owner myself I would point out that every business has a minority of unsatisfied customers for various reasons - that's a fact!..

Unfortunately happy customers generally don't shout about it in pubic for some reason but that's life, I wish they would as it would save me a fortune in advertising (nudge nudge if any of you are out there)..

Personally I also do not think that an open forum is the best way of sorting out disputes and find it odd that competitors (MRC & Grizz) find the need to jump on the bandwagon when I'm sure they have had their share of issues over the years?!.. That's business..

Can I also ask Cornishmoocher if you have had any personal experience of quattronics?.. if not then why should you comment?.. if so then sort it out direct!..

Anyway, for the poeple who are looking at getting into RS ownership whom this post was intended for then do your homework and make up your own mind - every specialist / dealer have or have had their issues, no different to main dealers etc etc..

On another note if you're after an RS6 then get one, they're fab!..

I agree that it may have been a bit OTT!

but......

Having recently been shafted by a rogue trader i feel i have a right to speak my mind here. If the party in question has recieved payment for the goods then it is his legal obligation to supply the goods within a reasonable length of time. Should the length be deamed excessive (6 months is outrageous) then there should be concequences. A legal route should be followed, but if the other party cannot be tracked down then a certain degree of self adventure should in my opinion be adopted. The authorities are hardly going to help if the complaining party knows nothing of the whereabouts of the offender.

If that means investigating and finding out who / where he is then so be it. If its a few quid lost then <beep> happens, but for over £2k then i'd be on his door step. Im sure there are many others who would do the same.

Thats potentialy life changing money in this climate, it could mean the difference between keeping your beloved Audi when the next insurance premium comes around or selling it due to poverty.

On a similar note i am currently owed £3000 by West Dunbartonshire council over damage caused to my 6 at xmas (Gritter damage). They are refusing to pay up and this is seriously agitating me as me insurance renewal is due in mid september (£550 if the council pay, or £3100 if they refuse). Being shafted is not an issue to be taken lightly. I will get my £3k back even if it means extracting the teeth of everyone linked to the council in question.

I would like to draw your attention to the section of my post that states " I have had no dealings with them but......"

Also- who mentioned MRC and Grizz- not one post here as far as i can see, and seeing you mentioned it, the guy that this originated fron is in SWEDEN.

There is also the small matter of a PM i recieved from Corey, where I explained my actions, if you want to seereal mud slinging, then go to Audisrs.com.
The evidence is fairly damning- and Corey seems to choose not to defend himself, If, as it would appear, that Mr Jones is in Financial difficulties, i will say only this, as i said similarly in a Pm reply to him- do not alienate your customers, past, present or potentially future, it is them who ultimately hold they key to your financial recovery- keep them informed, do not make promises you cannot keep, in fact under promise and over achieve. It was the best advice given to me when my business failed 10 years ago, I was done by a firm who owed me £147k and they just promised me promised me, their promises were <beep> and then they just ignored my calls. I went bust, lost my house and my livelyhood- so i too know what i am talking about.
Every person on here has worked hard for their possesions, me included, I just don't want to see anyone- even Mr Jones potentially get themselves in to a position where this kind of posting is required.

trouble is my name is pretty good here, and most people will know that I do nothing unless it is for the best intentions, perhaps you should talk to Corey, and ask him the contents of my PM.....You may not think me such a <beep>.

Whether I agree with this type of comment is neither here or there- but you see how much getting shafted-even hearing of people getting shafted whether intentionally or not really pisses people off.

BTW- and totally serious now- if Corey should read this- try the C.A.B. they were brilliant for me, free impartial advice which in the long run helped me no end from my tits oop!

personally i can't see anything wrong with Cornishmoocher's post and i personally thank him for posting, we are a community of RS owners who help each other out with advice etc. i'd hate to be in this type of situation 2k is nothing to be sniffed at.........i have a current situation with a certain RS affiliated business and have tried numerously to sort things out but to no avail there is only so much you can do - therefore i for one believe the story which has been spoken about here - thankfully my out lay is inconsequential however, its the principal of the matter.

people rarely sing the praises of a business when things are going well but will tell everyone when things go wrong - and frankly why shouldn’t you complain and moan when things go wrong the fact that we don't is why we have such crap customer service in this country. any situation can be resolved however, it takes two to tango!

and I think ecain63’s remark was tongue cheek so no need to get so excited these guys are experienced and valued posters on here they don’t randomly shoot their mouths of for no reason – except when they are bestowing the virtues of their RS-boats…….
