This is the 2nd time this guy has put this up on here, and i emailed him quite a few times before, but he is literally the other end of the country, something just doesn't feel right.

I would ignore it, but for this price and going by how hard they are to get hold of im tempted with the risk, although id rather lose the money/time and fuel than bank transfer.

Anyone else have any thoughts, knowledge on this? Or does anyone live in elgin scotland?!!

I'd pay via credit card due to aving insurance against these things, just clear it off once you have the seats. ou wouldbe cheaper getting them delivered if you are that far away. Best of luck

Wow,that seems far to cheap,usually go for double,if its a genuine sale,i'd rip his arms off

I'm even tempted for my new project,but am getting some bentleys this week instead.

Well thats what i was thinking, still its a bit o cash in fuel, so thats kinda why i put it up on here, thought maybe someone else who lives nearer could take advantage!!

They will,but it is not straight forward,and you lose some of the rear leg room,BUT the would look awesome

Im not going to go for them, i dont have the time to drive all that way (I live at the very very bottom of the country) and wouldnt risk these unless i actually went cash in hand.

Thing is if you dont mind the work involved, you can get any seat in any car, they would look awesome and if you could get the lumbar support working that would be cool, and technically if you were really clever if you got a b7 rs4 steering wheel with the 's' button, you could rig the lumbar to that, get some b7 gadgetry in a b5!!!

I didnt get his number, but his email was biots_h@yahoo.com, and he sent me this picture, he said the reason why the were advertised as 'in london' was because there are no customers in aberdeen for these seats!!
I asked him some other questions, but he didnt actually answer some of them, thats one of the reasons i was put off, but the main thing was " i wont take a paypal payment, only direct bank transfer ".

Trust me mate I would tread very carefully

First time round I contacted him, and he said as you say bank transfer only! Yeh right! He claimed funds have to clear first!

Second time round, he claimed they were in Aberdeen, so I spoke to him, and we exchanged several emails. And then I emailed him to say, that I have a mte in Aberdeen who would like to view these on my behalf, and if they are OK, will pay and collect them on that day. Surprise, surprise, no reply!
