Hi all

The car I am looking at buying will be going into Audi for replacement of 3 shocks under their good will warranty (the 4th has just been replaced and is under its 2 year warranty). Is it worth asking Audi to just replace them with Bilstein's or something similar? I guess the DRC will just continue to fail and fail so maybe it will save them some cash!

Also, if the DRC is covered under warranty, is it worth getting another warranty to cover the otehr items i.e. gearbox etc?

audi will only replace DRC with DRC
