Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?

I'm eligible for the DRC change but don't particularly like my local - Audi Tonbridge - who is the best of a bad bunch?
Ideally within 50 miles of Audi Tonbridge!

Sorry to jump on your thread but I would be interested in this too. Not got round to getting it sorted yet but I really need to in the next couple of weeks before October when the car is 6 years old. My locals are Southampton Audi and Portsmouth Audi.
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
p.s. I don't really know where Tonbridge is but Audi Camberley has cropped up a few times on here with regard to DRC replacements!!!!
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
no worries - Camberley is what I've heard mentioned - Tonbridge / Tunbridge Wells is near Sevenoaks in Northern part of Kent....
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
I'll vouch for Camberley. Great, professional service and have served me well on a few occasions including for DRC. Rob Chorley is the man there to speak to. Luckily local to me but I'd have no hesitation in driving a fair bit to get to them. No other main dealer experience to compare them with but I couldn't say a bad word about them.

I've used Crawley Audi without any issues (although I have heard a few people on here have had bad experiences with them) and they also have the tool for repressurising the system

Crawley took four weeks to fail to repair my DRC!!
Camberley is the best in SE - and not that bad from your neck of wood. They will probably be able to do you a courtesy car, but if not they are five minutes walk from Blacwater station which has direct trains to Redhill/Gatwick

thanks chaps - camberley it is then!
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
when are you booking it in/having it done?
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
needs to be pretty soon really - car is 6 on the 18th of August!
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
oh crikey yes you had better book it quickly in case they are busy!!! do you know its the DRC thats faulty, what symptoms have you got? anything visible? i think mine is faulty but dont know what i can look for visibly, if anything!
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
I think its a bit hard to tell unless you are an expert (which I'm not)
My suspension at the front is terribly crashy / clunky and I've changed a variety of bits to no real avail.
I think another problem is the back end being a bit skippy/jumpy too, but to be fair, I never get that out of shape when I'm driving really.
Leaking oil is a sure sign I think, but the pros on here will no doubt fill us in....

Mine is exactly the same. Feels like something near the front is loose. Has got slightly worse over past few weeks. Back is scary. Skips all over the place cornering on uneven roads!
Not really sure whether I want it looked at/repaired by Audi or just bite the bullet and have it replaced with something else. I guess if the Audi Goodwill 6 year thingy is available then I've nothing to lose!

I think its a no-brainer really - get the audi thing done and then if its still crap just bin the lot - gives you more time to save up!
RE: Best (or should I say least bad) dealer?
Yes very true! I'm just a little dismayed, reading all the threads on here, that the DRC is so prone to faults/failure, some people having bits replaced in double figures!!! I wonder how long after its fixed will problems reoccur and also wonder how many people on here actually have working DRCs!?!?!
