One RS4 B5 ( moi ) and three RS6's were there before I left at 20:15.

So, unless some other guys turned up later, bit of a disappointing turnout really. Weather stayed dry though !

Even as small as it was it was a decent little meet. I defo learnt a lot about the cars and it's always nice to put faces to names anyway. fingers crossed there'll be another saloon at the next meet. I did take some pics but only at the end of proceedings so i have to say sorry to Rickoshea for not getting a pic of the lovely RS4. I'll try and get em on tonight if i can work it out.

well, took my RS into Chingford Audi today and we got about 10 metres on the road test and the tech said its too dangerous to drive !

sorry i missed it guys, I techincally could have made it, but I was en route to clacton from grizz's (nightmare journey down) so cut across A14 from the M6.
Did toy with idea of going via south mimms, but decided against the M25 at 7 at night, it was a 5 1/2 hour drive anyway with the traffic, so just wanted to get there asap.
I will keep an eye out for the next time i am comming over, will probably be in oct time so hopefully there will be something going on that time.

its in with Chingford Audi - they say CV joint is knackered.

Previous owner had a new CV boot put on it just before I bought it, but it seems the damage had already been done to the joint, so that was a lovely suprise.

Luckily got All Component Audi warranty - so its covered, but wont have it back until next Tues! and I havent driven it for 2 weeks ! Itching it not the word

I kknow what you mean David. I have I just got mine back after 3 weeks at Staffird Audi and a previous 1 week undriveable prior to that. I forgot how noisy it was (esp compared to the Prius!)
