worrying noise from engine area

yesterday when i started the car up i got this weird and what can only be described as a computerised whirring sound from the engine appeared to be coming from the middle-ish area......after about say a minute it went and not come back until this morning when started up from cold and then again its there.....

ran vagcom and it raised the following fault code 1 Fault Found:
16622 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too High
P0238 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

any ideas?

Sounds like the secondary air pump to me.

Other fault code maybe intermittent as stated. I would erase it, and see if it re-appears.
