Karting 15th Feb - Rye House

Post by jeffw » Mon Feb 03, 2003 8:12 am

Guys

I'm organising a 3 Hr endurance race in Thunder Karts (390cc Honda Singles) at Rye House ( Rye House ). This is going to take place on the 15th Feb starting at 10am. I allready have 12 teams from Scoobynet but I could do with a few more.

If you want to enter please post here and then contact John Huff at Rye House (01992 460895) as soon as possible with your credit cards ready. The cost for a team is £190. Once you have paid there will be no-refunds due to no shows or date clashes etc.

Time to show the Impreza mob how quick Audi drivers are

Hi Jeff

Can you confirm that you aren't using Rye House's Karts (Because they are crap) and what time is the events.

3 Hours (Does this include Qualifying, if not, how long is qualifying?)

Cheers

Howard

We are using Rye's karts, I'm told they have been refurbed over the winter....we'll see.

The normal routine is 20 mins (it might be 30mins) practise then straight into the 3hr race. They have a tendency to drop the start flag on the Polesitter at the end of the practise session and start the race clock. This is not ideal but the cream normally rises (!).

It's pretty cheap karting !!!!!!!!!!!

I've just confirmed with Rye House that this event is going ahead. We currently have 13 teams and there is space for more .....

A slight change is that there will be a proper start from your qualifing position on the grid.
