Tom, The logs look about right to me, the Postive deviation usually means there is a boost leak so your assumptions about the noise (whistle) were probably spot on. The leaks can usually be sorted straight away and with little cost. I'd get a visit booked to MRC asap and have it healthchecked for piece of mind.

Welcome to the club, I can guarantee Doug at MRC will convince you to go for the custom remap which imo transforms the car into how it should have been from the factory.

Thanks guys, I'm hoping it will be a good one :) I'm quite happy with the amount of paperwork it has with it but like I say, some things will be inevitable but these cars are there to be enjoyed! It has been very reasonably maintained mechanically throughout its life.

Did mean to mention that in my reply, but yes, one of the first things planned is a visit to the boys to have her checked out and make sure theres no nasty surprises (will brace myself though for the worst.), thats hoping all goes well and it ends up on the drive Friday evening. Have a few plans for it alright all going well, inevitably the Milltek will have to go on and that normally goes hand in hand with the remap, which no doubt, like you say, will have my arm twisted by Doug to to so. That and uprated ARB's to start with along with binning the 710A's for 710N's and few other bits like that. All in good time...we shall see.... :)

Will be out of the country with work for the next 5-6 weeks so should get ample opportunity have it checked out while away all going well.

Will be good to be back in the club again...for whatever length it lasts this time.
There are 2 tools you need in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it moves and it should'nt, use the Duct Tape
If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40
