rear washer?

my rear washer doesnt work. I can hear the pump going but no water. Is this a common problem? I know on a lot of cars the pipe gets cracked where it hinges from body to rear door.

An obvious one perhaps - but had this on my S4 Avant.
Jets do seem to get clogged up more frequently on Avants - I assume you've tried cleaning the jet 'hole' ??

Do you get any water in the passenger footwell?

Had this in mine - a pipe had come apart at a join.
