Re: Bluetooth Helmets
Can't see the point myself, on a bike the moment you're over 50mph the wind noise would mean you couldn't hear anyone anyway.
Re: Bluetooth Helmets
some truth in that, depends how good the fairing is though, to be honest have never used a bike intercom so i don't know how much use they are, but the idea does appeal - telephone radio and chatting with your pillion - and then we can get bluetooth head up displays etc.

Re: Bluetooth Helmets
Is the wind/engine noise still an issue with the professional equipement used in full/closed helmets by the police bikes or the F1 drivers to communicate with the paddock during races ?

Thorney, not true.
correct placement of earpieces and microphone are essential.
I use an arai full vented race helmet and can hear the missus over the intercom at 140mph, and that is with earplugs in too.
I've since repositioned the speakers a bit and can no longer hear her anything above 80mph. Quite handy that as it now means we don't bother with the intercom
I can still hear her scream though - without the intercom !
Cheers,
John.
