all component is available up to 5 yrs, 100k. . . named component is over 5 yrs up to 100k. . . .

mines under all component until Sept, then i will renew the named component, but that will be my last one as it'll go over 100k by Sept 2010. . . .then it will be time for an RS 4 !

sureley when you have had the drc removed there is not much to go wrong to warent £2500 warenty cost a year, you would be better saving this for sure your biggest gamble would be gearbox but even that would only be 2 years premium @ £2500 to rebuild. plus every time you contact them its not covered for one reson or another from my exsperience wast of money you could save and just fix your own car for probaly less than what they charge....

Hi try motorcare warranties. Cost me 800 pounds for the life I own the vehicle. I got mine at the point of sale. I assume you can apply for a warranty to be added to the vehicle once it has been checked over. They are under written by Axa. I have had a rsasonable experience with them. The also covered my drc costs though they have a claim limit and labour rate limit.
