There was another thread on this earlier, however the short version it is a recall on the bracket that holds the battery in the boot well as it can crack.

If its cracked they repair it, if not, they apply somesort of sealer. Can take from between 1-3 days. Haven't had a look at my repair yet - might do so now.

Can you post some pics of the handy work? Was yours cracked already or was the work precautionary?

Damn - forgot to do it - washed the bugger instead.
Will check tomorrow morn and take a few pics prior to it going in again to Audi (for a seatbelt fastener).

Some pics of boot recall - not the neatest. Reckon the open the boot and just fling the sealer in.

Nope! A five year old would have done a better job..must have been the three year old office dog, the one with three paws and one eye.

Might have a word with the Stealer when I get my car later today.

Hi guys im from a "stealer" unfortunately it is very difficult to apply the sealant it comes in a two part mix and you have to use a pneuamatic sealant gun to apply (the gun is huge and pretty difficult to get in the right position),the technicians do try there best! and we have advised Audi regarding this
