The guy who is responsible for the RS4 and RS6!
Many people were angry with their brakes, but Audi said they will have a carbon brake offered as an extra in about 1,5-2 years! Might be an option for the new RS4!

Interesting that they didn't say a word about ceramic brakes.

For the lucky ones who visited the Quattro GmbH assembly line on Thursday in Neckarsulm (RS6 + Lamborghini Gallardo assemblies [img]images/graemlins/bowdown.gif[/img]), a few hindsights were provided by Quattro folks about the new RS4 (calendar, delivery and features).
Just be patient as the rest of rs246 crew is still on the road back to UK. Probably not all info can be posted so a filter is required.

I heard on Friday that there is one, in a year or so, (quite soon) that the RS3 will be 5 door only and that was from a factory tour attendee. Not exactly ground breaking news I know, but promising all the same.
