I had an M5 for a week on demo as was very much thinking I would go from my M3 into it's bigger brother. While I think the M5 is an amazing peice of kit and I did love it to drive it is definatly alot heavy and feels a bit clumbsy on the road. Mind you not a problem in Miami.......

The RS4 make's a better noise IMO but do what other have done drive them both and see what you think.

m5 board says 5m all the way.. Even talk to an employ at audi he said m5. But god i want this car its sooo sexy. I will just have to drive it. There is only 3 in miami.

all the people saying that on m5 board are biast towards the b5 and 99.9% of them havent even driven one, i drove both cars for a week and the b5 wins all round, like i said go test for yourself and then you will know

I believe M5killer is talking about the BMW Alpina b5 this is basically the normal 4.4ltr V8 found in a 545i but it has a supercharger bolted on. I believe figures are around 492bhp so not far off an M5.

I know you’re not talking about a B5 RS4 I meant this B5 Alpina







I think M5killer was saying go have a look and drive of one before you set your heart on the M5.

Of course you should 100% go and test drive a B7 RS4 too......

thanks thats exactly what i meant and the alpina b5 is between 500-507 bhp in reality its actually more but because of the politics with bmw m powered cars and alpina they keep their figures below that of m5, the b5 has much more torque as well...
