Citreon ZX - 1.6 (102bhp)
Volvo 440 1.7 Turbo (120bhp)
Volvo C70 2.0 Turbo (165bhp)
Lotus Elise Series 1 Sport 160 (170bhp) & Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6 estate (167bhp)
Audi RS6 Avant

I like the fact that the most powerful car I have ever owned was the vectra lol !! and it was the biggest engine!! Mind you the Lotus was a lot faster. But bring on the RS6. As my mate says there is no replacement for engine displacement !!!!

Ive never had to buy a house in all honesty. 9 years in the Marines meant that my only outgoings were: Mobile phone, Beer, Food and Clothes. You don't get paid alot, but you don't have to buy alot if you don't want to. And with the self-use garage service on camp it was an ideal opportunity to get involved with cars when you are not on deployment. When you are on deployment somewhere its an ideal opportunity to save some cash. No shops or pubs in Afghanistan.
When i met the wife she already had a house so it was just a case of paying half the mortgage once we got married, and a new job meant that i had a bit more money to play with.

This brings back memories,
in 1990 i got a 1987 vauxhall cavalier 1.6L
1991 had a 1985 vauxhall carlton 2.0L
then onto a 1986 vauxhall cavalier 1.8i cdi
6 months later 1986 vauxhall cavalier 1.8 sri this was a bad move as the number plate was b666 *** so 3 months later the engine blew up.
then got another cavalier 1.8 cdi which was writen off with a head on with a motor bike (not my fault).
once i got the insurance money i got another 1986 cavalier sri.
then in 1995 a bought a 1990 cavalier 2.0 sri.
then a 93 a vauxhall calibra 2.5 v6 which was a nice car
in 2000 my girfriend became pregnant so needed a bigger car so got 1997 C4 Audi A6 2.6se
then a Vauxhall vectra 2.5 sri this was the last straw to having a vauxhall, was going round a safari park in Stirling Sotland and the camshaft pulley came off while going round the lion enclosure, which was fun.
then a c5 A6 2.7 twin turbo
finally 2 years ago got my 2003 RS6.
