I think £1100 is optomistic. fronts with discs go for £8-900 alone.
and how many get written off to free up the second hand market?.......not enough!

i do.
less than 200 miles on them.
crashed so hard the front left wheel came off completely. luckily the disc and caliper had a 19" safety shell!

paid £900 and then got £75 reimbursed for work required to the inter piston piping.

Baaaaargain.

currently residing behind my 5 spoke 18" B7 wheels with some lovely but very expensive Goodridge Motorsport hoses.

ebay specials!! the disc and calipers at least
hoses through my mechanic. he runs a astra gte rally car and has a supply of very nice components
the hoses are fully servicable anodised components fitted to braided hoses. any part fails if can be replaced unlike the premade items.
they also have swivels built in at both end so there are no twists or kinks on full lock
