Thumbs up, very interesting project.

I would assume CAN interaction between Motronic and Tiptronic (and other modules) will be a challenge. Have you got a solution for these issues from APR already?

How much does the engine weigh compared to a 2.7? Quite a lot is in front of the axel.

We still haven't got that far because the car will go for exhaust today and then we will check the ECU.

Yes there is more weight up front now thats why we call it the "hammer" :D

there not that much diffrence in weight as the rs6 block is ally

I'll stick with my v6 but i'd love to get hold of the "hover flux capacitor interface" excellent for OVER taking

The transmission isn't and RS4 unit it's a stock DSY. MTM has to change out the engine block for their RS6 manual conversions, so I doubt that the block will bolt directly to the trans. The RS6 crankshaft also has a 10 bolt flywhell.

you can get a flywheel made to mate the rs6 block or as you said use a s6 bottom end

Will be interesting to see how the front end turned out.

I have no doubt the motor was running fine, just curious to see how the cosmetics went.
