Shouldn't you be posting this in the S3 forum.

Mate it was awesome, lays the power so easily and it just carries on going. I had thought the chassis may feel a little on edge with all that power, but it handles it so well.

There has been alot said about the car but its an amazing conversion QST have performed. I have driven my mates B5 RS4 MTM tuned 460bhp and that has near enough nothing on this car. Its really savage and the sound of the wastegate, its just sexual!

Thumbs up to QST, have also contacted Kim regarding it and he has been very helpful.

on the weight topic..
How much weight difference is there between a Transverse 1.8t with iron block with gearbox sitting in line with teh driveshafts and an inline v6 with the gearbox sitting inboard of the driveshafts?
If anything I would speculate that the CoG has been moved towards the centre and the increase in weight is likely to be neglible.
certainly no worse than having a fat mate in the passenger seat.

IMO it sounds like a great buy......depending on price obviously

i had this from kim at qst
goes like nothing else but very unsure around corners at speed
it went very light at the front
100+ round a bend .... nearly took off. scared the <beep> out of me
glad to see its still around and not trashed :D
also gear box very hit n miss with 2nd as i remember clutch had no feel but full travel
sounded the bollox tho
if its a genuine enquiry then you should have known its history
also i know how mutch i sold it for so 4 yrs later wouldnt pay more than 12k
he only paid me 18 for it!!!
ALSO MILOMETER AND PETROL GAUGE NEVER WORKED ALL THE TIME I HAD IT AND I DID OVER 10K IN IT AND WAS ON 18K WHEN I BOUGHT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Havent had no problems with the gearbox at all!

Sounds like a great bit of kit. Anything been altered to stop it taking off again?
