Thanks for the day Jim, does show some inconsistant figures though, more akin to the days of 2-stroke tuning, not what you'd expect from a modern high performance modern day 4-stroke

Looking forward to another meet-up if there's one on the cards

Hopefully comparing some more in depth details might shed some light the wild differences in performance, having a completely standard car 4th from top power output and i presume some tuned cars below it is making me wonder if theres more to this top end coking up issue on fsi engines

Overall I think the scepticism of Audi power claims is justified, most cars were in the 355-375 range so maybe they test in a wind tunnel on the arctic!

There was a lot of talk about gearbox temps being a factor. I am generally a bit sceptical about how RR go from wheel to crank power but the inconsistency begs a few questions re. Audi tolerances / adaptive ECUs etc *

I had hoped for around 400 with my remap given what others had achieved so not overly pleased - I would expect mileage to be a big factor and have heard these cars loosen up after 20k or so. Or maybe I am just trying to make myself feel a bit better as mine has only done 13k miles :)

* not a criticism of Paramount who did a great job today

Must admit after seeing these results I think ill be taking mine down to a dyno. I know these motors are known for not producing the magical 414 but the lower end of that list is very dissapointing.

On a brighter note seems like you all had a good day, just gutted I couldnt make it.

wow, I can't believe the difference between the figures
part of the reason I wanted to come down to see what sort of power mine would be running

be interesting to see the graphs though, I would imagine the mapped/tweaked cars probably just pick up quicker rather than showing more power overall, or a fractional increase as shown by some of the figures already

looks like a good day for all, shame there werent more 400+ runners, credit to the man that did all the organising
