i understand there will be a big difference, understandable really, four pot sliders to six pot's. but do you all think that the brakes are that poor, it's just i had a good blast around in mine the other night for near on an hour in 15min sections round a small privatly owned track, upto 100mph and hard on the brakes for tight corners, and never once did i get serious brake fade or any real problems in slowing the car down, nothing that braded hose's proper 5.1 brake fluid and a decent set of pad's would cover, and in no way justifying spending upto and over £800 for caliper upgrades on a standard car. just my thought's
done the jap thing, trying the euro thing!

When i 1st got mine i thought the brakes were ok,but after a short while and a few scary moments you realise that the brakes aren't to clever, and mine had new disc's and pads.
The brake conversion and coilovers/arb's are the best 2 mods for these cars in my opinion.

The B7 fronts are IIRC 8-pot brembo's, and possibly the most cost-effective upgrade you can do to the brakes.

I had a couple of nervous moments when stopping hard with the standard kit, but have full confidence since the B7 fronts went on the car.

Got to agree with graemep....B7 is upgrade is indeed Brembo 8 pots, and probably the best value, unless you buy 2nd hand.
