X606FBL
X606FBL
Apologies for the vague nature of this - I've been told about the above car via a motor trade friend - all I haved is the reg at this stage (X606FBL) and I know it's blue (possibly Nogaro but I guess some people think Avus is blue...). Does anyone recognise the reg or know anything about it??
It's done 63k miles and apparently has 10 dealer stamps in the service book, I don't have much other detail though. On the seriously remote chance someone knows it I'd be interested to get some background...

RE: X606FBL
Might be worth
a) verifying the colour either via your friend or calling Audi UK
b) doing an HPI check as that will reveal past registrations as most RS4s have had a cherished plate on them,

Turned out it was nogaro blue, weirdly with body colour mirrors but ali roofrails/ window trim. Mirrors nicked at some point perhaps?
On the downside It was seriously low and had very dark window tints. On the plus side it had 63k on the clock with 10 Audi stamps in the service book and had a very good interior. Sadly I was outbid at the auction where it was sold on Wednesday!
The search goes on..

Both of those cars look stunning and no doubt have been very well cared for, but sadly I'm looking for a bargain, which will take time....Contigo wrote:It's harder and harder to get a nice straight clean motor these days! Good Luck.
Buy Mikey's or Nige's off these forums. at least you know they are straight!
14.5k. On face value cheap considering mileage and FASH, but given you are buying without any real chance to check it over and given 6 owners on the logbook, I wasn't willing to take the risk. At the end of the day there are quite a few out there for sale at better money with perhaps a few more miles but much less of a risk than buying from auction. Slightly squiffy paint on the rear quarter aswell... that said it sounded very smooth when started from cold. The pimp tints and excessively low suspension is what sounded the alarm bells for me though.reserves wrote:How much did it go for at auction out of interest?

You can tell a lot by who entered it.
If it's main dealer px it could be OK
If finance house probably a repo needing money speding on it considering tints/loweing
I'd guess on the latter but do tell..

It was an Inchcape Retail car, hence would have probably been a main dealer p/ex job. 6 previous owners on it aswell.neckarsulm wrote:You can tell a lot by who entered it.

Was surprised by the amount of interest in the car, it was amongst a lot of run of the mill stuff and I expected people to be steering clear! Similarly an RS6 in misano red at the same sale (03 plate saloon 50k miles, MTM map and milltek exhaust, very clean) looked like reasonable value at £14.7k...

just think you could have bought a 69k miler for £13k as posted on this forum by me a couple of weeks ago
No nav but noggy, dodgy paint in places too but 3 owners and FSH (audi or Fontain) and no dodgy mods and in Ascot so not far from Blackbushe
Could have driven it too
Easy £1k if you stuck it in the auction!
