Unlucky Jim, in answer to our question though I have managed 32 miles after 0 on the DIS with a combination of motorway and urban driving and a fast get away without even a cough from the car. I was at a petrol station by 32 miles, didn't want to chance it any further beacuse the dial was well under the red line.

Done exactly the same thing. Left home with 15 miles showing on the indicator, with a 20 mile trip to work and the petrol station next door to it.

Got 200 yards from the petrol station and ran out of juice. Left me blocking a set of traffic lights in the middle of Trafford Park!! I was there for 25 minutes and not one selfish tosser stopped to help or offer to push me off the junction........ And no, the petrol station didn't have any cans....
