Alloy wheel colour

Post by david7m » Sat Mar 21, 2009 6:20 pm

Hi

Is there a specific colour for the alloy wheels, or is it just a regular one from Halfords etc.?

2001 S3, Avus 17 inch.

Cheers,

Hi Dave,

Check this post out ! http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... c&p=262139
I have read about a number of people using the Wurths silver mentioned in this thread but have been unable to obtain any !
I think there is a tutorial on Audi world relating to using the above for a localised repair.

I have used the avus silver touch-ups but not a great match imho.

Wurth silver is not a good match if you are doing a small repair, allright if you are repainting the whole wheel.
