Without turning into adebate and getting this corum involved but do i detect a sense of hate from one of the guys? whereas the other one is so laid back and chilled. !!

These guys have an ongoing court case so why not let it get dealt with there instead of bringing the mud into a forum community and wrecking it.

Just my opinion ok

I think its funny.... maybe they got bored of the courts taking so long to digest all the bo***x so had a good old dog fight on the forum.

very interesting.. looks to me like guy A left guy B in the lurch when he stup on his own.... would be nice to see the outcome of the court case when it's complete.

The forum bust up makes interesting reading but it's only going hurt both businesses in the long term.

The best way for this not to turn into a debate is to stick to the original topic:

There is an issue with the APR direct port in that it can prevent your car from starting

I recommend that people only post facts in response, until then we must assume that the above statement is also untrue.

its a real issue... but lately, it sbeen ok after a new ECU base code was installed.

APR service down under is second to none...

Starts no problem, from cold or warm.

The only thing I have noticed is its seems a bit lumpy at idle recently (maybe due to now using Millers Octane booster and Optimax?). Also when I shut off accelerator to change gear, the power shuts off really aggresively. This doesn't happen all the time though, and mainly on non-chipped mode.

Does this happen to anyone else?

i'm debating on getting my car chipped or remapped but still dont know who's best!! i like the sound of revo the best because of the sds thing. BUT are they going to get shut down or something because of all this dump about apr and them fighting over codes? If you are worried just wait.... remember its a dog eat dog marketplace out there......... everyone wants a bit of the action......

David is yours the Direct Port APR ECU??? if not i think that the above link has no relevence to your car, according to the link the direct port apr tuning has not got off to a good start because of problems with starting etc... but this is just what has been said by other individuals!
