My vinyl wrap experience

are the surrounds from the black optic pack or have they been wrapped in black too, if so do they remove it and place the wrap on or is it all done in situ?

they aren't wrapped, I already has these done previously. they remove badges etc..

Houses have 10 year NHBC guarantees, but you try getting any problems fixed under that guarantee!

Many companies offer extended warranties for cars, but many purchasers of them discover that the "small print" excludes just about everything...

well they are working fine

It's possible that if the vinyl is tight against the sensors it's so close that they are unable to detect it because the "flight time" would be so quick.

Well on the basis of the discussions I have had with the company that did my wrap, and the fact I have seen Lambo's, loads of other Audis, BMWs etc.. having the exact same thing done, including a guy having 3 cars done, I have no reason to believe my paintwork won't be ok.

When I get the wrap removed, I will find out, until then I'll try and enjoy it

Looks the dogs, just need the wheels black now. Im seriously considering getting mine wrapped matt black.

Mate, it looks great and if you're happy with the results then that's what matters. Obviously this is a discussion forum so don't take umbrage that people pick holes or doubt things..... some people take risks and deal with the consequences later on some people are very calculated and want to make sure they have every single possibility covered!!!

None of it is personal!! As you say go and enjoy it...

It does look like a very good job and I'm very tempted to do something crazy with mine!!! Lambo Green!!! but will probably go for white or a matt black/grey if I do it.

How long did it take to do and how much extra was it to have the shuts done?

Cheers Jim, I am not upset by people expressing opinions, free country and all that. I know its abit off the wall and yes its a risk, most fun things in life are!

I am happy with it, infact more than happy, had loads of positive comments on it, and that was from people who before hand where asking WHY!!!??

Anyway to answer your question, 3 days in total, 1 day to prep the paintwork, dry it etc.. 2 days to apply the vinyl. Removal takes approx 2 hours.

Leeds/Bradford Totally Dynamic - I can recommend the Leeds one, as its a franchise I can't comment on others

£800 is affordable. . .

Is it fully weather durable, i.e. through scorching summers etc ?

Do u have any close up pictures of the badges on the rear doors? Just that looks a tricky area curious to see the finish around there!!? Also another question do you have to let the DVLA know you have changed the colour?? Just if the old are behind you and put in your reg obviously it will say RS4 etc but black not white!!??
