My first post, although I have been lurking about. After picking up my RS6 from my local Audi dealer for the 11th time in 4 years for DRC related problems, I was speaking to a friend of mine in the legal profession. After explaining the problems with the DRC and Audi UK not recognising the problem in public (especially as DRC failure makes our cars dangerous to drive), he said there would be a very good case to be made in court and that he would find a specialist lawyer for me to deal with it.
Yesterday, a friend of mine with a RS6 in the USA, emailed me that Audi in America have finally recognised the problem, and are starting to re-imburse people for their DRC costs and a apparently a technical solution will be implemented this year.
With that in mind and the words of my lawyer friend, I believe that I can at least get some compensation and a better solution from Audi UK for my DRC problems.
Are any of you going along the same path is everyone just taking Audi's dishonesty for granted and fitting aftermarket parts?
I have owned a WR Quattro, RS2, RS4 and now an RS6, but Audi UK's response to these DRC faults are certainly stopping me from buying the new RS6, if not Audis altogether.

Alex, there is so much gumph on here about the DRC, that you probably will be better off reading through them and taking it from there. Your question has been asked many many times before. The AoA fix has been available to uk users for months, and guess what- it doesnt work. Mine lasted 2 months.

Seriously though, do have a read and in particular, peoples experiences with aftermarket coilover kits. In most, if not all cases, people prefer both the comfort and handling of the coilovers, regardless. Myself included.

Thanks for your replies. It seems that the 'British Stiff Upperlip' prevails and nobody wants to show some teeth. Unfortunately, I am half German 
I can understand people changing to aftermarket suspension as the RS6 is their primary car and can not wait on Audi's lethargy.
Luckily, the RS6 is my 3rd car and I prefer the car to stay on properly functioning DRC.
In the past VAG has not 'done the right thing' after friendly pressure and only acted after legal action, so I think that my decision to test this in court is the correct one.
Interestingly, I had dinner with a friend of mine who who happens to be an editior of a national daily, and spoke to him about the RS6 and Audi UK's communications. He has had the pleasure to have been in my RS6 with DRC misbehaving, so was utterly flabbergasted when I told him the whole saga. He has pledged some exposure once the court papers are prepared and served.
On Monday, I will commision a specialist company to examine the DRC system on my car, as well as a failed system that I have managed to get from my local Audi dealer (who have looked after me very well, I must say). I suspect that I can have access to the DRC tooling for examination as well as my company is a fairly large customer of them. There is supposed to be new tooling, but not many dealers have it yet, so I need to have a bit of a search to that for examination. If anyone knows of a stray set, please let me know.
