removing engine?

Post by rocketmq1 » Fri Mar 06, 2009 12:22 am

When removing the engine and gear box together on a b5 s4 what is the best/easiest way to separate the gear stick/shifter from the gear box?

Its my first time pulling my engine and have just ran into small problem.
my engine and gear box are 95% out i think its just the shifter stopping it coming out now! it was getting a bit late so have given up for the evening should be back on it first thing Saturday morning so any pointers would be welcome.

Cheers.

Undo the 4 10mm nuts that hold the selector to the tunnel and let it drop out the bottom with the gearbox ..
