why do we have to use kkk
garett is easier to find,cheaper to buy
needs an adaptor.has anybody tried this for bigger turbo application?

-i got this numbers from tuning forum,this is supposed to be the bigger turbo for rs2 . dont have any other info

If you have a word with minhea on s2forum he is selling hybrid K27/K29 turbo's or you can go route i am turbo technics sell 4 different hybrids.
will dig out the specs and post on here. One i have is k26/k27 hyrbid max boost 28psi and tried tested figures on an S2 of 404bhp 458lb/ft torque.
can go bigger but then need custom manifolds
or can go for huge power using garrett T04 with superback compressor wheel, needs new exhaust manifold and downpipe modification but good for about 550HP.

i reaily dont know too much about turbos and rs2's.i found a man in switzerlend today and he has it.his english is not good actually he cant speak,now i am waiting for a friend who can speak german we will call him and talk details.
i dont believe that i have a chance to build custom manifold etc here.. he can also be useful to you.will post his www here .let me find

Timucin - you really should speak to Mihnea - He got me a racing K26/27/29 turbo for a really good price and it's brand new.

i reached him by somehow,i think from audi list at yahoo;
we mailed 1 or 2 messages but he never replied back..

Timucin,
You dont have to use KKK, Garrett can be fitted with the correct turbine scroll(hot housing)fitted, I got mine from Turbonetics and they make a copy of the KKK turbine housing to fit their turbos to audi/KKK manifold flanges.
However KKK make good turbos and Dougs one is very good and Mihnea can point you in the right direction to get one. Just bear in mind that there is more choice, and that the newer Garrett turbos come with the Ceramic ball bearing option for quicker spool up if that interests you.
Mine has a copy of the KKK #8 turbine housing but this has been machined to accept quite a large turbine @ 63mm, I suppose, in short the real advantage of the "newer" turbos is its easier to mix and match and build customised units to your own specs, I,ve attached a pic of mine fitted.

i reaily dont mind what brand it will be..
my problem is i dont have acces to turbochargers in my country,all of them are for big diesel application or rebuild stock turbos.
i only need someone to send me bigger turbo .
its very easy to shop in states,they all have online order pages and takes a minute to buy whatever you want.but this audi stuff you have to make hundreds of calls,hundreds of mails etc.thats the boring part.
-no one accepts credit cards : this is very funny : who would buy a turbo cahrger with a stolen card ? LOL

Phil - I still have to put in a heat shield for the filter. It's not remapped yet so can't drive WOT to see any effects.
The big orange hose comes from the top of the oil filter ducting so should provide plenty of cold air while moving.
I am also getting one of these:
