Oli, you couldn't be more right. When the pound was close 2:1 with the dollar an American colleague of mine was looking for a new car and I was trying to persuade him to get an RS4 (he bought a Cadillac in the end, well he is old!). The dealership in Las Vegas were selling them for almost the same number of dollars as the number I paid in pounds. Go figure and that's after a transatlantic ferry, strict US crash testing and sales tax.

Rip off Britain indeed. :(

Nor did it have the option of the bucket seats.

AoA (Audi of America) thought that RS4 sales couldn't justify the costs of putting the RS 4with FM wheel and bucket seats through the US crash tests.

Still doesn't justify the difference in price tho! :?

Indeed, thinking about it, the buckets should be cheaper as there are no motors in them.
