SeaCat or Tunnel. I managed SeaCat for £109 (Car and up to 5 passengers), haven't spoken to the Chunnel people.

Will ring Oliver on Monday and sort out hotel.

Seacat sounds fine to me, ferry is too slow and it would imagine it will be boring sat in the car on the chunnel. £109 for the cat, is this is a return fare or just one-way?

James, get your best prices on all as a big price difference might be a deciding factor (more drinking tokens for the boys).

We should get one of them booked asap if we want to be sure of travelling together. What does everyone else want to do? Show of hands guys.

ferries seem to run pretty regular i got a price on hoverspeed to leave at 8am 12 nov and return at 8.30 pm 16 nov.does this sound about right.
hoverspeed is cheaper than the ferry, car with 1-5 passengers out and return at these times £116 includes vat.
i cant get a discount on 9 vehicles,so we can book our own if we get the times agreed.
ASAP

We have the option to do the factory visit on either Thursday or Friday. I had planned to do it on Thursday as Friday was supposed to be the karting.

So now we have two options:

1. Leave a day later, and do the factory visit on Friday.

or

2. Do the factory visit on Thursday.

Personally I think I would prefer to do the visit on Thursday, and leave the plans as is.... What do you think?

fine with me but nobody has agreed times.i think ferry should be about 8am or later, as a couple of people including myself are driving to dover that morning so will have to leave early.normally signing in is about 2 hours before departure so i think we should all meet at dover about 8am and get a ferry at about 10am.
can we all agree on this?

Thinking of time off work I'd rather we delayed it and di it on the Friday but will certainly go with the flow on it all.

James, No way are we going on the ferry!! Can you get a better price than £109 for the SeaCat? If not I'll post the details tomorrow, and we can go ahead and arrange a time and book.

What about this?

12/11/2003 08:00 Dover / Calais 74M SEACAT 12/11/2003 10:00
16/11/2003 19:00 Calais / Dover 81M SEACAT 16/11/2003 19:00

I think 10 might be a little late; it's a long drive, and you don't need to be there that much before dept with the SeaCat.
