Right went to local audi last week and they said they used to do this for customers and have all corresponding paperwork and wiring diagrams needed to convert
Just picked them up.
Doesn't seem a massive task after skimming through the huge booklet they gave me.

Also audio and climate harness chopped from facelift A4

Issues to overcome:

can signal wire
Parts needed:
Gps antenna
Glovebox cd changer and cable
plug and play adapter /
conversion adapter (rns-e) maybe later
Will keep updated if anyone is interested

RE: s4 prefacelift dash retro fit - facelift mfd sat nav etc
From what i remember, the hazard wiring is just a case of matching up color for color the wires between the old and new looms, iirc you have one wire left over but that doesnt matter.
The fogs need a relay from the facelift A4
can signal isnt required afaik, you need to connect a live to a certain pin on the climate units wiring to get the illumination to work but thats it.
Theres plenty info about this on audi-sport.net if you have a search over there.
