Where do I sign?

My 1st Avant had them replaced under warranty, my new 03 saloons need replacing, not being under warranty, I'm going straight for a set of Bilsteins.

Had N/S/F shock replaced as it was leaking. Unfortunately authorised repairer didn't realise the importance of re-pressurising the system therefore new DRC valvel also required. Would ditch the setup if only it weren't for the extended warranty.

Hi 2003 RS6 Avant. 89800 miles now.
53019 NSF/OSR Inserts.
53790 OSF/NSR Inserts and track rod ends.
58418 Repressurised DRC.
65506 Repressurised DRC.
71406 Full DRC rebuild with 4 inserts+valves.
73580 Changed rims to 18" Abt's to try and get a better ride. Helped somewhat but still hellish
78440 Repressurised DRC.
82131 Repressurised DRC.
Its now banging away again and really ROUGH on other than billiard table roads.
Apart from this its a damn good car
Car full dealer stamped service book and have full Audi Extended warranty so Audi UK will know EXACTLY what has been done to this car. I use it as a fast response car to RTC's so it must be perfectly maintained

GedH

I have only had my RS6 Avant for a few weeks, but I crawled up Audi CS with a laporascope before buying it in order to find out the DRC history. I know that it has been into them on a least three occasions, so it doesn't have a blemish free past and unless they sorted it properly last time, I'm sure that I'll have some fun in the not too distant. Let me know if I can help more, be interetsed to see how this develops particulalry on the back of what is occurring in the US and with the B7 now.

Mine seems to be beset with front suspension problems - even the guy in audi parts (off the record) says they are knackered in the 6 & RS4 which is a bit better - new 6 is fine though, for the time being!

Hi Ged, did You get any further with this ?

Check the new post in the RS6 C5 section titled "Audi to replace DRC with new system for free" and follow the link to the U.S. Site

It looks like Audi America are going to offer RS6 owners some kind of real solution so this should be available for us too ??

I'm not holding my breath but if Audi in the U.S. are going to do something then maybe .....................
