Wonder if the up and coming saloon will better weather the current financial storm...

Mate, I've sent you two PM's but they just hang about in my outbox. Basically, what can you offer? Cheers

think theres one on pistonheads already £79,355. Think the Avant has more presence. Saloon is going to be a very rare site i'd imagine.

RS6 Avants from the summer are listing at just under £60k now.

A dealer had one up at £66,680 & I offered his £60k two months ago which he refused.
He's trying to tempt me at £62k, but soon my offer price will be mid £50ks.

I would have thought he would have snapped my hand off with £60,000 cash.

I'll stick to my own profession.

I've been looking at the used car prices over the past month, they are coming down at a fairly rapid rate. Some dealers seem to be be more eager to get rid, others seem to have their heads in their clouds. There are 3 cars under 60k now.

I have had a deposit down on an RS5 for a while now, but that seems to have gone quiet, and a supposed appearance at Detriot next month now looks unlikely. That (and the family planning hat on) makes a cut price RS6 look interesting. I spoke to my local dealer last week, and quite bluntly told him I wanted to pay 50k (I know that not's going to happen over night). He did say there were deals to be done, but maybe not quite a deal of that magnitude!

I have been offered an RS6 in Mugello Blue with 7900 miles for £59k through a Indy.

Do you think more examples will be available in Jan ?

Feedback PLZZZZZ

That doesn't sound like an amazing deal, I think you'd get as good a price from a dealer on a car with less miles. Not sure whether there will be more examples, but I'd expect the prices to continue falling.

£57950 asking now on autotrader so £50k to deal at by March in this market I would guess. Personally I'm more interested in how long it is before R8's can be bought at £50k rather than the £60k after haggling that they are retail now.

Was offered an RS6 from dealer with 1200miles (delivery mileage..???) for £59,750. It had good options from memory inc ceramics. That was against both my RS4 and RS6.
