I guess the worst bit, is half of these seem to be driven by people that don't even appriciate what they have.

Thoughts???

After reading that statement, my thoughts are unprintable.

Simple they'll mainly be B7's as there were more produced. In fact there are currently 506 RS4s (only 2 of which were imports) manufactured between 2000 and 2002 that are still registered with the DVLA. The remaining 3000 are B7's

Data supplied by DVLA to me.

2006 Daytona Grey RS4 B7, RNS-E - SOLD

Are you sure Dave...you may be right, but I didn't think there was as many as that... :o
That's the figure that was quoted on here a few months back.

Something like 1500 Avants, 500 cabrios and 2000 saloons IIRC.
It's wrong

The total number of RS4's registered with the DVLA since 2000 is a little over 3500. 506 are B5's the rest are B7's

Left for Coucheval yesterday, stopping off at Laon 1st night and beaune 2nd night. Pulled onto Eurotunnel and what was in front, a 56 plate RS4Avant. A rather worried french guy tapped on my window to say hello he wondered if the temperature was ok at 120 deg, told him that was normalat 120mph.

He had just picked it up from Leicester and was on his way to Paris. Nice guy, his dad actually owns half the hotels in courcheval and as his wife is having a baby he thought that his GT40 was not big enougfh so he bought the RS4. Poor chap only had it for 1hr and was nicked on the M1 south doing 122mph 4 month suspension. He wasn't too worried, spernding winter in Paris.

Anyhow, bombing down A26 to beaune and had a nice run with a B5. Having said that, I come from Hertfordshire and there are only two RS4's that I have seen in the past few months, a Red Cab and a Grey saloon.

Happy days

So B7s are NOT common on our roads - since there are only 3000 of them registered.

Exactly NOT common compared to say M3's and M5's but If there are 10 near you in on affluent area it's going to seem like they are common!!!

There are quite a few in my area, see them quite often.

Still havent seen the legendary white one with titanium wheels since it was brand spanking in the showroom.
