Included / Not Included - Warranty

I am looking at purchasing an 06 RS4 in January and the warranty expires in May.

I am thinking about extending it but have heard that a lot of the big (expensive) jobs are not covered.

Please could somebody let me know what expensive jobs / parts are and are not covered?

Also if they are not covered could you please give an idea on cost?

DRC problems are covered under a 5 year warranty from date of 1st registration though dealers may not be aware/deny all knowledge.

Expensive for what it is - the glovebox hinge snapping approx £200 not covered on extended warranty as considered to be trim.

I hear a lot about the DRC, what is the problem with it exactly?

As I understand it. The DRC suspension uses liquid under pressure and is cross connected i.e. front left shock is connected to rear right and basically this starts to leak fluid from the shocks, once the system starts to lose pressure it doesn't do the job. There are several threads relating to DRC on the RS4 (B7) and RS6 (C5) forums that are worth reading.
