Photoblocker number plate spray

Post by RichRS6 » Wed Dec 03, 2008 11:27 am

Hi, Just wondered if anyone has tried any of these sprays which are supposed to stop speed cameras getting a picture of Your number plate.

Supposedly they reflect the flash back to the camera over exposing the image so the picture is unreadable.

No registration number = no points or fines.

Illegal (probably!) but they say undetectable so is it worth the cash ??

Any input appreciated.

Cheers Rich.

I keep hearing different reports about these, some people swear by them, others say they arent worth it at all. Also a workmate of mine said there are more truvelo camera's now which dont use a flash like the older gatso's. I'd save my money to be honest :)

I don't know about them being 'undetectable' either. I was driving behind a chav chariot the other day and was getting glare from my xenons reflecting off his Bad Bwoy number plate when I pulled up close to him at the lights.

Don't they just look at the negative and they can read the number no problem!

I saw this police program on Bravo a while back where they pulled some fella over for it. They could see his registration plate with their own eyes through the window but it wasn't showing on their in-car telly thing.
