Snapped S3 Gear Box selector

Hi

I managed to the snap the selector between third and fourth earlier this year. Has anyone else heard of or done this?

Had a new clutch, slave cyclinder etc while it was apart.

Apparently the pink label means it is special order, and the parts chap said he had worked for Audi for a long time and never sold one!!

Never heard of this on any 02M box, in fact, I've never heard of this on any VW / Audi box, even on the early 020 boxes..... I have heard of the roll-pin snap but never the fork.

I think she could well be right!
If you have a look on www.Edition38.com/forums there is usually some boxes for sale as its no use unless you're running a Haldex.
