its a gas powered air rifle, ive seen them before and they look cool, you wont need a licence unless its been tweeked over 12ft/lbs

No special license needed, just a lot of common sense! It's a legally powered air rifle (12ft/lb). You must be 17 or over to own it.

This is a serious big boy's toy! Looks the business packed in the case . I was going to advertise it in the local rag nearer to Xmas, but would prefer to sell it to someone I sort of know rather than some one I don't.

Totally recoiless, even my grandmother couldn't miss (strike match heads at 30 yds) 500 shots per bottle fill, £3 to fill the bottle at your local gunsmiths not unless you have your own divers tank to fill from or you want to hand pump (not advisable)!

Tim, need something to keep the rats down on the farm? You could keep it in the cab of your combine for those boring days, slip nicely under the seat it would.

I had the rapid seven when they first came out and didnt get on with it, prefer spring/gas ram type rifles. The best rifle I've ever owned and wished I still had was a 'Bowkett' tuned HW77 which was adapted to take a parker hale .22 bullet rifle silencer, think I part swapped it for a motorbike IIRC. Had loads of different types over the years.

Nice one, Vinny, but never mind the rats... with my camo gear, boot polish, night vision goggles, that scope and suppressor, the "doggers" would never know what had hit 'em.

Love the slogan

"designed today for the shooters of tomorrow"

mind you I prefer
"designed yesterday for the shooters of today" - but I always prefered instant gratification

Have been buying/selling and trading with airguns, shotguns and rifles for a quite a while now. However, over the last few years with the tightening guns laws I have slowed down a bit and have just been buying and selling the occasional air rifle (too much hassle with all the police checks for the firearms these days). Aquired this air rifle in a trade (was 2 months old at the time) and liked it for the novelty factor and that it's extremley light, you can carry it all day. I never use it, it just sit's there in it's case. If there's anything anyone is after specifically let me know (PM me).

If there is enough interest I can organise a cheapish rs246 day out clay-pidgeon shooting in the Leics/Cov area. I have either worked on or know most of the shoots around there. Let me know (next year now - bbq and few drinks after!)

Vinny.
