I have owned the car for 3 months and i have now got my first warning light! The pad wear symbol is lit. I have checked the pads and there seems to be loads of pad left all round. Does the warning come on early? Do I reset it? or is there something else wrong?
Would be greatful for an expert opinion.

You can't reset it until you put new pads, or turn off the feature via VAG-COM (not sure if possible)
Have you checked the inside pad, as this is the one that has the sensor, and also inner pad always wears slightly more than the outer.
