Try and make the back end squirm-it will when the roads are damp -and then realign itself
And try to get more than 21 mpg
Check the tyres under the car menu-and be amazed that you now get individual temp/ppressure for each tyre-unlike before when you just got a panic alarm -except when it was very cold then you had a false alarm

Laugh yourself to sleep tmorrow night.........good luck

Be interested to know what you think .... if you've still got your C5 RS6, how can you justify circa 65,000 on a very similar motor. There is no doubt when you're cruising at approx 60mph ... 'foot to the floor' acceleration is awesome.

I am considering a trip to Germany to test drive the 700 bhp MTM modified car .. perhaps you'd like to join me ? :D or maybe we are mad !

I'd keep my C5 if I bought the C6 ... which is even more mad .... :bash:

I was toying - and I emphasiss the word "toying", with chopping both the RS4 and the RS6 in against the C6. Prices are crazy just now - having said that, they will drop further in the future...

I have been offered a 1200mile blue job for £55k. Really it neads to be £45k....but bearing in mind how fast the prices are falling just now, that looks like Feb/March '09.

I don't like the looks (too subtle), but can't get away from the performance and ability. Having said that the weight is abig factor and I want to be able to throw it around. The C5 is on the limit of being able to that.

MRC are doing 700bhp upgrades for the C6....why goto Germany?

Let me know how the test drive goes !

My RS6 has done 32,000 miles from new; is in Daytona Grey with black leather & I have just had Bilstein suspension fitted, hotchkiss anti roll bars, wheels reconditioned and 2 new tyres. A beauty !

Do MRC run a 700 bhp to C6 to test drive ?

My profile website should have pics of my RS6.

Dissapointed. Very.

It feels slow. Handling/roll/turn-in was much better than expected but it is dull. Nail the throttle and it just goes, there is no sense of urgency at all, no kick in the pants but simply a wave of power. Downshift is very slow too but I love the auto blip. A stage1 remap would appear to be mandatory. Like all Audi's I suppose....

Once they get into the £45k bracket, it'll be a good buy once you have had it remapped.
