Bose front tweeters

Post by S3just » Thu Oct 23, 2003 4:45 pm

I mentioned this in another post but i'm still unsure about it.

My newly acquired S3 has Bose fitted. the sound is great but there is hardly any audio coming fromt the front door tweeters. The Fader is set to the centre and the lower door speakers and all rear speaker are fine.

To get (in my opinion) good audio, I have my bass set around '0' and the treble on about '5' depending on what i'm listening too. I guess that if the front tweeters were more audible i'd lower to treble, thats I why i think something could be wrong.

Can anyone check their Bose out for me and let me know. The more the better.

Cheers,

Justin

Also the recent cold weather has made my car much more resposive and feels more powerful, especially combined with a tank of shell Optimax! Anyone tried the new BP stuff yet?

My BOSE is the same mate, not a lot from the front tweeters.

Car is also very spritely, and the BP stuff was nothing special in my opinion when I tried it last week - initially not bad but didn't pull as well up top.

Cheers

Ben

My BOSE tweeters are the same along with the sub which can rattle sometimes dependant upon tracks.

I`ve also checked with a S3 at the dealers and that was the same.... still think its a impressive system for what it is.
