FS: High Performance SMICs for B5 RS4

Post by Nige_RS4 » Tue Sep 23, 2008 12:14 pm

I have a pair of brand new uprated IC's for sale including humped and ringed high temp silicon hoses and clips.

These are a straightforward fit onto B5 RS4's and keep the OEM look.

I have had a set of these on my car for over a year now and have logged some impressive FATS and airflow improvements (not to mention reduced IATs).

Suitable for cars upto 500'ish hp, but will add gains of around 15-20hp on a standard car.

PM me for more info, but looking for around £850 ono

I plan to bring them to ADI at Castle Combe in Oct.

Note, these do not include the ducts, you will need to get your ducts modified to suit the enlarged face, or buy a set of Sportec carbon ducts.[/img]

note - carbon shrouds not included!

Increase in MAF readings (before timing was increased too!) I realy need to get my car to Doug to log peak MAF figures.

Irrespective of the increase in airflow, the car picks up much better and lower down the rev range - I get full boost below 3000RPM. I've logged a 3.11 sec FATS with these (car is running gutted pre-cats, std cat-back, MRC map with peak boost of 22PSI)

You know you want to!

Do you need carbon shrouds for this or are the OEM ones fine too?

No, you can modify your OEM shrouds - they will need cutting and extending to fit the larger face tho.
